Our Solution
Bow hunting is considered by many (including us) to be the safest, most discreet, least invasive approach to deer hunting. Please read on for some reasons why.

No Gun Blast
Because there are no guns involved in bow hunting, there are no gun shots. People often hear a hunter's gunshot in the distance and get a feeling of nervousness and uncertainty. Unless you are within 20 yards of a bow, you won't hear a sound when the arrow is released. Instead of someone calling the police because they heard a gunshot in the distance, they won't even bat an eye.

Short Range
Both a bullet and an arrow will fly for a certain distance before losing all forward motion. A bow can be considered to be much safer than a gun because a bullet could fly for miles before hitting the ground while an arrow will likely go about a hundred yards.

Tree Stands
All members of our organization bow hunt from tree stands. We use a type of tree stand referred to as "climbers". This means they are able to ascend and descend a tree without the use of drilled steps, drilled ladders or any other equipment that would damage the trees.

Arrows Shot Into Ground
A safety benefit of hunting from tree stands is that our arrows are always released at a downward angle. The end result is the arrow in the ground, not the air.

Shot Distance
Because an arrow has minimal effective range, there are no long distance archery shots taken. A typical archery shot is under 25 yards. Arrows are rarely released at targets greater than 30 yards away.
